Mr. Rajiv Vastupal is the Group Chairman & Managing Director of Rajiv Petrochemicals Pvt. Ltd, a flagship company of group. Team Rajiv was formed in the year 1980. A first generation entrepreneur, Mr. Rajiv Vastupal has set up Team Rajiv from scratch over the last four decades. The 1500 Crore diversified group is a leading player in Polymers, Woven sack bags, Fabrics, Electrical cables, Switch gears, Light fittings, Panel boards and an Insurance broking, named Anar Insurance Brokers Limited.
Mr. Rajiv Vastupal is an immediate past Chairman FICCI Gujarat State council and has served as the board of governors in the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIM-Udaipur), Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-Bangalore) and Indian Institute of Management Rohtak (IIM-Rohtak). He was also the past President of the prestigious All India Management Association (AIMA) from 2011 to 2012. Likewise, he aided being the past President of Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) from 2005 to 2007 and contributed INR 50 lacs for building state of the art J. B. AUDITORIUM as a farewell gesture and also started Rajiv Vastupal Achievers Academy. He is the founder of Gujarat Chapter, YPO, a member of YPO Gold Mumbai and a board member of YPO Gold South Asia.
Apart from being a reputed businessman, Mr. Rajiv Vastupal has been very active in contributing to the society and social causes from an early age by carrying on the legacy of his forefathers of an immensely well-renowned charitable institution known as ‘Sheth Jamnabhai Bhagubhai Trust’ recognized as (J. B. Trust), a 116 year old charitable institution which provides Homeopathic and Physiotherapy clinic to the people situated in the various prime locations of Ahmedabad. Apart from this he also stands as the Chairman and Managing Trustee of various other family trusts under his establishment being the philanthropic arm. Mr. Rajiv Vastupal has recently donated a whooping gratitude amount for INR 2.0 crores (INR 20 Million) for building a school in the name of ‘SHETH JAMNABHAI BHAGUBHAI BPA SCHOOL OF OPTOMETRY’ which is managed by Blind People Association (Ahmedabad).
